COPEit is a mental health support app that aims to provide users with simple exercises that may be used to de-centre from a problem and cope with a challenging situation, to practise activities that help reduce stress, or then just for fun.
It is based on the principles of breath-work, mindfulness and art-making, all three of which promote well-being. In fact people have benefited from these techniques for thousands of years! The art activities in particular may sound simple, or even silly, but may open doors to intuition and creativity if you allow. And above all, they may reduce stress- and we all know the negative affect of stress on our immune systems and why it is important to keep our immune systems healthy.
We shall be regularly updating this app with new activities and exercises for you all and will be very happy for comments and feedback through the feedback function provided.
So sit back, take a few deep breaths, listen to the healing sounds of whales and write a love letter to your shoes. Connect to the child in you as she will help you COPEit.
